Amey

Amey joined us to Studio Together Oct. 2018 - Oct. 2020. She had done pottery before. She wanted to learn new skills and try out new things...this was inspirational for all of us.

"I learned more in one day with Debra than I did in one month at other places. She is very generous with her knowledge and time and very nice to boot!"

Below are some of Amey's finished pots. We (multiple students and I) love how the one with copper carbonate on the outside turned out. So inspiring!

Here's Amy throwing the walls of a dish she later made square-ish, 

added a slab base, and sculptural handles. Here it is finished:

Amey suggested we try adding slip to the sides after trimming. 

It was a fun way to change the surface texture.
